The Challenge
IXL needed a way to support their growing field sales team with procurement volume. In order to enable their sales team to focus on providing exceptional customer service to current and prospective customers, IXL needed a partner who understood not only how and where to find new opportunities but also help craft a compelling narrative to make the sale
Our Role
IXL chose RYE to help source procurement opportunities around the country. RYE reviewed, analyzed, and submitted opportunities to IXL every week. When IXL identified a good fit opportunity, RYE partnered with the internal procurement managers, sales, and marketing teams to develop winning proposals and bids that effectively communicated IXL’s product value, while fostering strong district partnerships.

Our Result
Because of RYE’s commitment to illustrating the most compelling features of IXL to match an individual district’s needs, we supported over 100 responses focusing on Math, Reading, Science and Language Arts for PreK to 12. This resulted in contract opportunities in 27 states including a state-level adoption. RYE’s foundation as IXL’s procurement partner laid the groundwork to build capacity for a full time department to handle their procurement opportunities.
