Description of Company:

NTC is dedicated to improving student learning by accelerating the effectiveness of teachers and school leaders. We build capacity within districts and district partners to drive student learning, teacher effectiveness, and teacher and leadership development. We do this by providing PreK-12 teachers and school leaders with the skills and supports needed to create optimal learning environments that accelerate students’ academic and social emotional success.


 The Challenge

NTC did not have the time and capacity to dedicate to the procurement process. Our small team lacked capacity and understanding of how to develop content and respond to multiple RFPs successfully. We worried about an external partner understanding our offerings quickly and being able to execute efficiently without being a member of our staff.

Our Role:

RYE’s foundation in education practice enabled them to quickly get up to speed. As classroom teachers they understood our Professional Development offerings and interpret the specific needs of our clients.

RYE isn’t here to just crank our RFPs. They understand the procurement process and are intentional with their recommendations. The team taught us how to source opportunities that complemented our goals and helped us think about the intent of the RFP before responding.

With RYE at the helm we have always hit our goals for every timeline, we have never missed a deadline, sometimes gotten ahead. Of all the RFPs that have been awarded, we lost one but have gotten resulting in an 86%-win rate.
