RFP D27-031 Robust Learning Management System
Grade Level: K-12
The Hawaii State Department of Education (STATE), serving over 165,000 students, seeks a robust Learning Management System (LMS) designed for the K through 12 environment that includes learner tools and support tools that enable the delivery of online and blended learning. The LMS must fully conform with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.1 and 2.2, Level AA, and offer core features related to course development, student engagement, and integrated video platform capabilities. The LMS must also provide advanced administration tools, alongside secure, role-permissioned generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) features designed to enhance teacher workflows and differentiate student learning. The LMS must seamlessly interface with the STATE’s multiple student and personnel information systems including, but not limited to:
A. Student Information System (SIS), Infinite Campus;
B. Professional development registration system, Learnsoft;
C. Teacher Single Sign On (SSO), Microsoft Azure Active Directory;
D. Student Google (GSuite) and Clever Sign on; and
E. Program specific SIS like Genius.
