C-23006 SEL Assessment Tool
Grade Level: K-12
KCPS is currently accepting proposals to solicit interest from qualified educational entities to provide professional services to KCPS in the form of a comprehensive evidence-based, standardized, and nationally norm-referenced Social Emotional Learning (SEL) assessment system. This system should measure individual student social-emotional well-being across K-12 to identify appropriate interventions and supports, as well as document progress on SEL outcomes over time. Qualified firms and/or individuals will be selected through a competitive, quality-based, fair, and open process at the sole discretion of KCPS.
KCPS is wanting to implement district-wide SEL assessments that provide valid, reliable, and actionable feedback and data on our students. This RFP is seeking both a universal screening tool as well as follow-up assessments to track progress over time.
RYE Note: KCPS is seeking a 2-year initial contract with three (3) optional 1-year renewals at the same yearly cost as the initial contract. The vendor should supply a per-pupil cost based on a student population of 13,500 unique active users. The vendor should be able to provide comprehensive support for initial start-up and implementation as well as ongoing professional development that supports a district-wide implementation with efficacy and fidelity. The vendor should have an established track record of successful implementation in multiple mid-size to large urban school districts.
