LASUD, which serves nearly 436,000 students, seeks to reduce chronic absenteeism and achieve 100% graduation, which are key goals in LAUSD's Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). Los Angeles Unified is committed to realizing excellence for all students by providing a unique, rigorous, and culturally relevant education that every student deserves, ensuring they graduate college- and career-ready. A key component of this Initiative's focus is on in-school academic support, mentoring, positive behavior support, and case management. See page 8 for Requirements.
