RFP# 4146 K-5 Core Instructional Resources for the teaching of Social Emotional Learning
Grade Level: K-5
Madison Metropolitan School District, which serves over 26,000 students, seeks to provide schools with high-quality instructional materials:
1.) Aligned to the district's SEL Competencies (based on Learning for Justice Standards)
2.) Founded on the values of transformative SEL
3.) Provide engaging activities and lessons that are content-rich, free from bias, fully accessible to all learners, and culturally relevant to the BIPOC student population in English and Spanish. Such a program will not only provide teachers with a coherent sequence of targeted work on grade specific standards but will also include lessons that are written with a clear purpose, structure, pacing, and background information to provide teachers with the content and pedagogical knowledge to meet the needs and the exceptional talents of the learners we serve: English language learners, gifted and advanced learners, and students with disabilities.
