Magnolia ISD-Silent Panic Alert Technology

10012501 Silent Panic Alert Technology (SPAT)

Grade Level: K-12

The Magnolia Independent School District, with 23,000 active employees, is seeking proposals from vendors interested in the Magnolia ISD Silent Panic Alert Technology installation to comply with Texas HB3. Magnolia ISD is looking to have a Silent Panic Alert Technology (SPAT) system installed at each of our school campuses (and possibly the auxiliary locations). SPAT is generally defined as a silent system signal generated by the activation of a device, either manually or through software applications, intended to signal a life-threatening or emergency (such as an active shooter, intruder, or other emergency) requiring a response from law enforcement and/or other first responders.

RYE Note: All inquiries and requests for information regarding proposal submission requirements shall be directed to Lauren Ebert at purchasing@magnoliaisd.org.
