2612 Website Hosting and Parent Notification System

Spartanburg County School District 2, located in the northwestern part of Spartanburg County, serves approximately 12,000 students and employs around 1,600 staff members, and is seeking to purchase a website hosting and parent notification system. The proposed solution must accommodate the needs of both non-technical and technical users who will publish web pages. These web pages will be used by employees, students, parents, and citizens of the community. With the proposed solution, the District must have the ability to maintain the same overall appearance throughout the District’s website and individual sites. The district requires a mass notification system for alerting parents and students via phone, email, and text about emergencies and important announcements. The district also requires a two-way communication portal for teachers and students to communicate from a classroom rostering system.
