2627-3 Prospective Organization to Provide a Web-Based, Student Information System to Support the Special Education Programs (IEPs) for 2026-2027
Grade Level: K-12
The Trenton Public School District, enrolling nearly 15,000 students, is currently seeking a qualified organization to provide a web- based, student support system to support the Special Education Program’s Individualized Educational Plan (IEPs). The system must be able to translate all documents in Spanish and other languages as needed.
Trenton requires a New Jersey-specific case management system that meets all special education requirements and supports ongoing updates related to regulations. The system should provide all letters, meeting invitations, notices, forms and other documentation, which are aligned to New Jersey special education requirements and are reviewed to ensure compliance, especially around Least Restrictive Environment. In addition, the system should support all special education state reporting including NJ SMART’s Special Education and NJSLA/DLM submissions, and provide the ability to validate data as it is initially entered into the system against NJ SMART special education business rules and prevents data which would cause an error when submitted to NJ SMART from being entered, and alerts user to the type and source of the error.
