Montgomery County Public Schools, serving more than 156,000 students, is soliciting proposals from qualified bidders that demonstrate competence and possess the ability and experience to provide Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) with evidence-based, researched, and reviewed assessments targeted to students in Grades 3-5 in Two-Way Immersion Programs that measure their progress on Spanish Language and Literacy comprehension. This RFP seeks assessment providers who share a vision for ensuring that all students have access to the highest-quality assessments aligned with best practices in Dual Language education and assessment. The respondent should offer high-quality, web-based, and adaptive questions with grade and age-appropriate item types that measure language and literacy skills in Spanish. The assessment system should also provide real-time and longitudinal data, with easily accessible, customizable reports at the district, school, grade-level, classroom, and student levels. Individual student data must be accessible to families in multiple languages.

Specialist Professional Services individuals, nonprofit organizations, or firms (vendors) to provide comprehensive professional learning, curriculum development/implementation, and crisis management services to educators, PPS staff members, and administrators of component school districts and OU BOCES staff members. Expert individuals, nonprofit organizations, or firms (vendors) must have an education, social services, and/or mental health background and hold at least a Master’s Degree in a related field (i.e. education, social work, or mental health). Expert-Level Specialist individuals, nonprofit organizations, or firms (vendors) must have at least ten (10) years of experience in the development and delivery of professional learning courses and services.

Charles County, one of the fastest-growing counties in the state of Maryland, with a student population of over 27,700 students, is soliciting information from companies with experience, expertise, and qualifications to provide an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled video analytics and camera security platform that operates entirely within Charles County Public Schools’ (CCPS) district-controlled infrastructure. The desired solution must not require vendor-hosted cloud services for video storage, AI processing, analytics, or system operation, and must support a district-wide environment of approximately 2,000 internal and external security cameras. This RFI is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) nor a commitment to issue an RFP in the future. CCPS is exploring and evaluating AI-enabled security technologies that may enhance situational awareness, safety monitoring, and operational security while maintaining district control of data, infrastructure, and decision-making processes.
