The proposed solution must accommodate the needs of both non-technical and technical users who will publish web pages. These web pages will be used by employees, students, parents, and citizens of the community. With the proposed solution, the District must have the ability to maintain the same overall appearance throughout the District’s website and individual sites. The district requires a mass notification system for alerting parents and students via phone, email, and text about emergencies and important announcements. The district also requires a two-way communication portal for teachers and students to communicate from a classroom rostering system.

Brand names, trade names, model numbers, and/or catalog numbers may be used to describe the standard of quality, performance, and other characteristics needed to meet member requirements. Use of the name of a manufacturer, brand, make, or catalog number is not intended to limit or restrict competition, nor does it restrict the offeror from the submission of equivalent brands. However, the District reserves the right to decide whether alternatives are equivalent to the materials and equipment described in the solicitation. The District shall be the sole judge of equivalent quality, and the District’s decision shall be final.
