#36-2223 – Career and Technical Education Technology Textbook Adoption

Grade Level: K-12

Chesapeake Public Schools (hereafter known as the District) seeks proposals from qualified offerors that have demonstrated competence and possess the ability and experience necessary to provide career and technical education (CTE) textbooks and other related ancillary materials and resources for middle and high school students. At this time, the District is looking for technology education textbooks.

This RFP is a request for career and technical education textbooks for each of the following subjects:

a. Middle School
i. Technology Education- Introduction
ii. Inventions and Innovations
iii. Technological Systems

b. High School
i. Architectural Drawing/Design
ii. Communication Systems
iii. Construction
iv. Digital Visualization
v. Electronics Systems I and II
vi. Engineering Drawing and Design
vii. Graphic Communications
viii. Imaging Technology
ix. Manufacturing Systems
x. Materials and Processing Technology
xi. Technical Drawing
xii. Technology of Robotic Design
xiii. Video and Media Technology
xiv. Physics for Technology I and II/ Principles of Technology I and II

RYE Note: The contract term will commence upon award and expires June 30, 2028. The contract may be extended upon mutual agreement of both parties for two (2) additional one-year periods, upon the prices, terms, and conditions set forth in the negotiated contract resulting from this RFP.
