22-520 STUDENT APPLICATION PLATFORM AND RELATED SERVICES

Grade Level: K-12

Chicago Public Schools wants to simplify the school enrollment process for families and students who participate in programs beginning with prenatal DFSS (“Department of Family and Support Services”) programs through the high school application process. CPS needs the ability to centrally manage the student application and enrollment process using a single system of record. CPS’s goal is to use or build, as necessary, a website where parents and legal guardians can apply online using a mobile device or computer. Once applications are submitted, CPS will centrally manage student applications, seats available, and enrollment totals by location.

Types of Programs: The enrollment Solution will need to encompass all of the following:
a. Prenatal programs (DFSS)
b. Birth through 2 year old early childhood programs (DFSS)
c. Pre-k 3 and 4 programs (DFSS and CPS)
d. Kindergarten through 8th grade choice programs
e. Kindergarten through 8th grade selective enrollment programs
f. 9th grade high school choice programs
g. 9th grade high school selective enrollment programs
h. Selective enrollment principal discretion
i. Transfers
