P25-13 Systemwide Safety Notification System

Forsyth County Schools comprises 43 traditional/specialty schools and 9 support buildings. The intent of this RFP is to procure a systemwide safety alert solution that includes full site and classroom alerting capabilities (notifying administrators and/or first responders for 911 emergency lockdown or local school administration assistance needs) and visual alerts such as strobes and push notifications to digital signage notifications for ad hoc alerts, such as lockdowns and drills. Submissions shall include all materials, equipment, and labor to install and activate a crisis/emergency alert/management support system / service to include software, hardware, peripheral devices, and training at each school and facility in the FCS district. The primary purpose of this solicitation is to select the optimal solution to ensure FCS compliance with “Ricky and Alyssa’s Law” (SB17).
