(RFI) 260401 Student Assignment System

Seattle Public Schools, serving approximately 49,000 students, is in the process of developing specifications for a new student assignment system and is seeking input from the vendor community.

Seattle Public Schools is currently using an in-house built assignment system with an expiring Windows framework. SPS seeks to replace the student assignment system (SAS) and transportation operations system (TOPS) beginning in 2027-28. This project aims to identify, purchase and implement external software(s) or use existing software with little to no customizations that will replace SAS and TOPS functions.
