UCSD-2026-RFP-INST-001 Informal Observation and Walkthrough Management System

The Union County School District, serving 3,500 students, is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide a web-based Informal Observation and Walkthrough Management System. The District seeks a solution that enables administrators, instructional coaches, and authorized personnel to efficiently conduct, document, monitor, and analyze classroom observations, instructional walkthroughs, coaching visits, and learning walks. The District desires a modern, cloud-based platform that is accessible from Windows-based computers and portable devices, provides robust reporting capabilities, protects confidential employee information, and supports instructional improvement initiatives throughout the District.

The purpose of this RFP is to obtain a comprehensive, web-based software platform that allows administrators and instructional coaches to:
• Conduct classroom walkthroughs
• Conduct informal observations
• Document instructional coaching activities
• Record evidence and feedback
• Monitor instructional trends
• Generate reports and analytics
• Support continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain historical records of instructional observations

The solution shall be user-friendly, efficient, secure, and accessible from both desktop and mobile devices.
